A soak after a day on the road can be the best part of an RV getaway. But searching for Texas RV resorts with hot tubs takes more care than choosing a property with an attractive pool photograph. A heated swimming pool is a different amenity, and a private hot tub attached to a cabin does not come with the neighboring RV site.
This shortlist compares six Texas properties with hot tubs advertised by current official sources. Five offer shared resort facilities; Quilly’s Big Fish advertises a private hot-tub option at individual sites. Sugar Hill and Port A provide the clearest year-round heating information. Elsewhere, confirm the spa’s operation for your dates before making it the reason you book.
Details were reviewed in October 2026. These are editorial selections based on published information, not rankings from personal visits or promises of live availability. Maintenance, weather, access rules, and fees can change.

Compare Texas RV resorts with hot tubs
Full hookups means water, sewer, and electricity. Electrical options and site dimensions vary. “Confirm dates” means a hot tub is verified, but its seasonal operating calendar is not. Swipe the table sideways on a small screen to see all six columns.

1. Sugar Hill RV Resort — year-round shared hot tub near North Texas cities
Location: Anna, north of McKinney. Best for: Couples seeking a resort base or travelers settling in for a longer North Texas visit.
Sugar Hill explicitly advertises an oversized hot tub heated year-round. It is a shared resort amenity, and the published stay information includes hot-tub access. A heated pool, sauna, Farmhouse lounge, fitness center, and walking trails add options beyond the soak.
All RV sites provide water, sewer, and 30/50-amp electricity. The site guide lists several back-in categories around 70 feet long and premium categories around 60 feet, plus pond-view pull-through choices. Those are advertised site dimensions, not a universal maximum RV length: have staff match your complete setup to a specific pad.
Year-round heating does not prevent maintenance or weather closures. Ask for current spa hours and age rules, especially when traveling with children. A site with a landscaped patio still shares the resort hot tub.

2. Quilly’s Big Fish RV Park — a verified private hot-tub site option
Location: Rockport, on the Gulf Coast. Best for: Couples and RV travelers who specifically want a hot tub for their own site rather than a communal spa.
The official Rockport page lists “Hot Tub Sites” and says guests can rent their own personal hot tub for their site. That supports a private RV-site option—not merely a cabin upgrade. Reserve or arrange that exact option; an ordinary site reservation should not be assumed to include it.
The page also describes rentable private tubs, so confirm whether your quoted site rate includes the tub or whether it is charged separately. Ask which sites qualify, who may use it, and how setup, cleaning, and access work. A current seasonal heating calendar and hot-tub-specific age rules were not established from the published information; confirm cooler-month operation directly.
Full hookups with 20/30/50-amp service are advertised, along with ponds, walking trails, pickleball, and a heated pool. Site categories include back-in and pull-through choices; confirm exact dimensions and compatibility with the hot-tub option. A maximum rig length was not verified.

3. Port A RV Resort — a shared spa for a coastal stay
Location: Port Aransas, on Mustang Island. Best for: Coastal explorers and winter visitors who want communal resort facilities after beach outings.
Port A’s amenities page separately lists two temperature-controlled pools and one hot tub. Its official extended-stay information describes the tub as gas-heated for year-round enjoyment. This is a shared resort spa, not a tub on your RV pad; reconfirm its current operating status before a winter trip.
RV sites advertise full water/sewer hookups with 20/30/50-amp service and concrete pads. The extended-stay page gives site lengths of 52–73 feet. Confirm your rig and tow vehicle will fit the chosen site rather than treating those pad dimensions as guaranteed RV-length limits.
Recreation rooms, a gym, catch-and-release fishing, and access toward Charlie’s Pasture broaden the stay. Published pool-area rules require bracelets for guests 16 and older and supervision for children under 16 in specified recreation areas. These are not a hot-tub-specific minimum age: ask about spa eligibility and any access charges. No separate spa-fee schedule was verified.

4. Redbud Ranch RV Resort — shared spa near Austin and Round Rock
Location: Hutto, northeast of Austin. Best for: Austin-area visitors or friends traveling in separate RVs.
Redbud’s official amenities page confirms a Texas-size hot tub/spa in its pool and recreation offering. It is a shared facility; no private RV-site hot tub is established by the site descriptions. The reviewed information did not establish year-round spa operation, winter heating, hot-tub-specific age limits, or a separate access fee. Ask the office about those details before booking around a soak.
Every RV site advertises water, wastewater, and 30/50-amp electricity. Published back-in categories accommodate lengths up to 30, 35, or 45 feet; pull-through listings say up to 45 feet. Buddy sites are an option for two RVs, with arrangements made by phone. Confirm the complete setup and selected category.
The resort also lists creek-side walking space, a social hall, dog parks, and cabins. Review its RV-age and dog policies before reserving. A family-friendly resort setting does not establish that children of every age may use the spa.

5. Mill Creek Ranch Resort — East Texas relaxation with RV and cottage choices
Location: Canton. Best for: First Monday shoppers, couples, and groups combining RV travelers with cottage guests.
Mill Creek’s current official amenities list includes a hot tub alongside resort recreation. Its published RV-rally information describes hot-tub relaxation for guests, supporting classification as a shared resort facility. No private hot tub at an individual RV site was verified.
The resort advertises 100 RV sites, back-in and pull-through choices, full hookups, and 20/30/50-amp options. Furnished cottages give non-RV guests another way to stay. Confirm the selected campsite’s length and electrical service; no current numerical maximum rig length is promised here.
Nature trails, catch-and-release fishing, disc golf, and a dog park offer a relaxed itinerary. The current amenity listing does not establish winter spa hours, a year-round heating commitment, hot-tub-specific age rules, or whether a separate charge applies. Older winter promotions are not a current operating calendar. Confirm access for your travel dates with the resort.

6. Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country — shared spa tubs and separate cabin upgrades
Location: New Braunfels. Best for: Families and mixed RV/cabin groups who want a broad activity resort and can verify spa operation for their dates.
The official amenities page lists shared spa tubs separately from the heated main swimming pool. Selected cabin descriptions also advertise private hot tubs. Those cabin tubs belong to the selected lodging accommodation; they are not included with an RV site.
Seasonal caution: The spa-tub entry currently gives March 6–December 31, 2026 in its description but retains conflicting March–November 2025 “Important Dates.” Because of that inconsistency, this guide does not promise a winter spa season. Confirm the spa calendar, heating, eligible users, and any extra access charge directly. The main pool’s schedule cannot resolve the spa-tub discrepancy.
RV categories advertise full hookups with 20/30/50-amp electricity and back-in or pull-through options. Confirm the selected site’s dimensions and grade. Mini golf and other activities add choices, but slides and pools have separate seasons. Published water-area rules require a supervising companion for guests under 16; ask for any additional spa-specific restriction.

Private hot tub RV sites in Texas: what was actually verified?
Quilly’s Big Fish is the verified site-level option in this research: its official Rockport page explicitly advertises personal hot tubs for individual sites. It is a reservable or rentable option, not evidence that every pad has one or that the tub is included in every rate. Confirm availability and the total quote before paying.
For the other five properties, the RV recommendation centers on shared hot tubs. Camp Fimfo’s selected private cabin tubs are a different booking. A shaded patio, premium pad, private bathroom, or luxury label does not establish a private spa. If exclusivity matters, request confirmation that the tub is reserved solely for your site’s occupants.
A booking checklist for a hot-tub getaway
Confirm operation: Ask whether the actual hot tub will be open and heated on your dates, its daily hours, and any scheduled cleaning or maintenance closures. Ask what happens if it becomes unavailable. “Resort open year-round” and “heated pool” do not answer those questions.
Confirm access and cost: Is spa use included with your RV reservation? Does it require a wristband, rental, premium site, or separate fee? Are visiting friends eligible? For a private option, confirm exclusivity and any setup arrangements. Compare the complete quote, including taxes, utilities, and optional extras, without assuming a standard upgrade price.
Confirm rules and fit: Ask about minimum ages, supervision, occupancy limits, and posted spa rules. Give the office your RV length, slides, tow vehicle, and electrical needs. Review minimum stays, pet restrictions, cancellation terms, and any RV-age policy before reserving.
If your group also needs indoor lodging, our Texas campgrounds with RV sites and cabins guide explains accommodation differences. For a broader family trip, compare our family-friendly Texas campground shortlist; check each property’s spa rules separately.
Texas RV hot-tub FAQs
Are there Texas RV resorts with private hot tubs?
Yes: Quilly’s Big Fish in Rockport explicitly advertises hot-tub sites and personal tub rentals for a site. Confirm the exact option and charges. Most properties in this guide have shared resort spas; a cabin’s private tub is not an RV-site amenity.
Are resort hot tubs open during winter?
Some advertise year-round heating, including Sugar Hill and Port A. For the others, current winter spa operation needs confirmation. Camp Fimfo’s spa listing has conflicting dates, so contact the resort rather than relying on the main pool’s schedule. Weather and maintenance can affect any property.
Do RV sites with hot tubs cost more?
They may, but there is no verified statewide surcharge. A private rental or special site can have different pricing from ordinary camping, while some shared spas are included. Ask for a written total for your selected site and hot-tub arrangement.
Are hot tubs included with RV resort reservations?
It depends on the property and reservation. Sugar Hill explicitly includes its shared hot tub in published stay information. Elsewhere, confirm eligibility, fees, and guest rules. A hot tub appearing on an amenities page does not settle every booking’s access terms.
What is the difference between a heated pool and a hot tub?
A heated pool is designed for swimming; a hot tub or whirlpool spa is a separate soaking amenity with its own operating conditions and rules. Confirm that the property lists an actual hot tub, then check its season independently of the pool.
Choose the soak that suits your trip
Start with Quilly’s Big Fish for a verified private site option, or Sugar Hill and Port A for clearer year-round shared-spa information. Redbud Ranch and Mill Creek suit Austin-area and Canton itineraries when spa access is confirmed. Camp Fimfo offers an activity-rich Hill Country stay, with its spa calendar requiring particular care.
Choose the hot-tub arrangement first, then the RV site and destination around it. Find more trip ideas in our Texas Travel guides, and use the official property links to confirm the details that matter to you.
